Desert Monks Brewing, one of just three Arizona breweries to win a medal at this fall’s Great American Beer Festival in Denver, celebrates its four-year anniversary this weekend at its Gilbert Town Square taproom.
The festivities:
- The first 50 guests to buy any beverage Friday or Saturday will get a free anniversary pint glass.
- Tapping of a firkin of the brewery’s imperial American stout Dareo with Cherries on Friday.
- Three special barrel-aged beer releases – Dareo on Saturday, and Smash Kolsch sour and Cherrysh the Barrel sour on Sunday.
- Four-year anniversary shirts and other new merchandise for sale.
- Raffles and silent auctions of DMB gift baskets.
- Food will be available from The Southwestern Griller on Friday and Jones Family Kitchen on Saturday.
- Tetelestai Bakery and Santa Claus will be on-site Sunday.
