The Brass Tap, a Florida-based chain of craft beer bars, has returned to the Valley after a three-week absence with a new location on the southwest corner of Williams Field and Recker in Gilbert.
The menu: Pizzas, burgers, sandwiches, tacos, and salads.
- 60 beers on tap and more than 100 in bottles.
The space: The location is part of Verde at Cooley Station, a new 23-acre mixed-use development.
- Amenities include 23 TVs and a patio.
The history: The Brass Tap’s first Arizona franchise opened at Mesa Riverview in 2014
- The franchisee, Jessie Rowe, launched a second location in downtown Gilbert in 2018.
- In 2020, the Gilbert location was transformed into Da’Bayou Creole Kitchen, which closed at the end of 2021.
- The original Mesa location closed last month.
- New franchisees, Jesse and Karen Herfel, have opened the Verde location.
⏰ Open: Doors open at 4 p.m. today.
- Starting Wednesday, regular hours are 11 a.m.-10 p.m. Sunday-Thursday and 11 a.m.-midnight Friday-Saturday.
