Dominican quick-serve eatery Casa de Mambo opens in west Mesa

Casa de Mambo, a Dominican quick-serve restaurant, has opened in the former Ike’s Love and Sandwiches space near the southeast corner of Alma School and Southern in Mesa.

The menu: Popular dishes include braised chicken, roasted chicken, braised beef steak, barbecue ribs, and codfish stew.

Did you know: Casa de Mambo’s owners also operated Mambo’s Dominican Kitchen (since sold) in Chandler and the now-closed Mambo’s in Queen Creek.

Open: 11 a.m.-8 p.m. Tuesday-Sunday. Closed Monday.
