Saturday: 5-year anniversary party at Hop Central in Chandler

Chandler brewery and taproom Hop Central will open two hours early at noon Saturday for an all-day celebration of its fifth anniversary.

The history: Hop Central opened in 2018 in a strip-mall space formerly occupied by a tanning salon on the southwest corner of Rural and Ray.

• The taproom has 36 beers on tap, including up to a half-dozen of Hop Central’s own beers, as well as more in cans and bottles.

Saturday highlights: The celebration will take place noon to midnight.

• A street taco stand catered by Wicked Brews, Bites & Spirits will open at noon.
• A new house beer, a Doppelbock, will be tapped.
• There will be swag raffles all day.
