Bap and Chicken, a bibimbap and Korean fried chicken restaurant that opened in November 2021, has closed on the southwest corner of Ray and 54th Street in west Chandler.
The history: The Chandler location was the lone spinoff of the popular original in St. Paul, Minn.
The competition: The East Valley has seen several Korean eateries open in the past year, including a Gogi location about a half-mile from Bap and Chicken.
