Braised beef is the new pizza muffin of the month at Floridino’s Pizza & Pasta in Chandler.
The history: Seven varieties of pizza muffins ($8.19-$9.49 per half-dozen) are the signature menu items at Floridino’s, which has a pizza muffin food truck and hosts sold-out pizza muffin beer dinners. In addition, the restaurant offers a special pizza muffin of the month.
What’s in the braised beef muffin? Braised beef, sautéed onions, red peppers, and mozzarella cheese rolled up and served with a side of red wine au’ jus.
Available: Braised beef pizza muffins ($10.79 for half-dozen) will be available through Feb. 28.
