Pomo Pizzeria sibling Rosso Italian coming to CityScape in Phoenix

Stefano Fabbri, owner and chef of acclaimed Pomo Pizzeria, is launching Rosso Italian, a contemporary Italian restaurant with a modern twist, at CityScape in downtown Phoenix.

The menu: Premium Italian entrees including pasta, pizza from Pomo, and crudo.

  • Highlights include tagliata di manzo (pictured), pork chop Milanese, house-made gnocchi burrata, fusilloni Rosso, yellowtail crudo, and tuna tartare burrata.

The decor: Sleek and rustic with a touch of Italian warmth. The 5,000-square-foot space offers a bar (pictured) and a pet-friendly patio seating.

The quote: “I have always harbored a dream of expanding Pomo Restaurant Group with a new twist,” Fabbri says. “When the opportunity presented itself, I knew the timing was perfect.’’

Scheduled opening: Late February.
