Acclaimed north Phoenix kosher restaurant Cafe Chenar shuts down

Cafe Chenar, an acclaimed kosher restaurant specializing in Bukharian Jewish cuisine from central Asia, has closed after nearly five years on the southeast corner of Bell and 16th Street in north Phoenix.

According to signage on the space, My Spot Mediterranean Grill is moving in.
