Valley-based restaurateur Sam Fox – who will open his first hotel, The Global Ambassador, on the northwest corner of 44th Street and Camelback in Phoenix in mid-November – has unveiled the other four of its five restaurants:
Le Âme: A Parisian steakhouse that pays homage to traditional French fare. The menu will boast classic French dishes like steak frites au poivre and French onion soup along with a new take on dishes like tuna carpaccio and brick-pressed chicken coq au vin.
Le Market: A chic yet elegant Parisian patisserie serving decadent pastries and espresso in the morning and exquisite cheese presentations curated by an in-house fromager paired with natural wines in the evening.
Pink Dolphin: A laid-back restaurant where Mexican- and Peruvian-inspired dishes and drinks will complement a whimsical and vibrant poolside setting. Expect a wide range of margaritas and other cocktails.
Lobby Bar: A stylish and well-appointed bar that will pair an all-day snack menu with classic and craft cocktails with a European flair. Musical stylings will include jazz trios and special artist-in-residence nights.
Théa: A previously Mediterranean rooftop restaurant focused on mezze (tapas), pasta, and coastal seafood. Named for the goddess of light, it promises breathtaking views of Camelback Mountain and a lively DJ energy.
There also will be a sixth restaurant called The Grill, but it will be members-only, a first of its kind for Phoenix. No other details have been released.
Fox, a 12-time James Beard Award nominee, sold Fox Restaurants Concepts to The Cheesecake Factory in 2019, but remains its CEO. He has opened 140 restaurants nationwide in his 25-year-career.
