Brunch Problems, a breakfast and lunch eatery from Valley caterer and chef Jerome Greene, has opened in the former Switch space on the northeast corner of Central and Virginia in midtown Phoenix.
The space: Switch occupied the space for more than 14 years, closing in late 2021. Hutch took over in March 2022 and didn’t survive the year.
The food: The Southern-style menu feature dishes like catfish and grits ($20), chicken and waffles ($22), peach cobbler waffles ($17), and chicken-fried lobster tail ($30). (Pictured: Problematic Pork Chops, $22.)
The drinks: Cocktails include a peach cobbler mule ($12) and Chicken & Waffles, made with mezcal, maple syrup, and smoked bitters. There also are mimosas, beers, and seltzers.
Hours: 8 a.m.-4 p.m. daily.
