🌮 Taqueria Factory, a family-run Mexican restaurant that debuted in Chandler last June, has opened a second location on the southwest corner of Alma School and Ocotillo in south Chandler.
The space: Formerly the home of K-38 Beach Mex Cantina, which closed in March after 16 months in business.
The food: Tacos, burros, and quesadillas come with a choice of al pastor pork (cooked on a trompo), carne asada, birria (beef), or chicken. Corn and flour tortillas are made in-house daily. (Pictured: quesabirria tacos.)
Hours: 11 a.m.-9 p.m. Monday-Thursday, 11 a.m.-10 p.m. Friday, 10 a.m.-10 p.m. Saturday, 10 a.m.-9 p.m. Sunday.
Did you know: Taqueria Factory founder Gamaliel Garfio and his wife, Maria, also founded Frutilandia, a Mexican dessert shop.
What’s next: A third Taqueria Factory is expected to open in the former 5 and Diner space at Arizona Mills in mid-June – the first to share its space with a Frutilandia and the first with a drive-through.
