Mijana, a 14-year-old Lebanese restaurant in Tempe, has opened a fast-casual spinoff, Mijana Express, on the southeast corner of 40th Street and Thunderbird in north central Phoenix.
The food: An array of Mediterranean plates (shawarma, gyro, lamb shank), sandwiches, and kebabs.
The drinks: Sodas, teas, and water. No alcohol available.
The hours: 11 a.m.-8 p.m. Monday-Saturday. Closed Sunday.
