The Trophy Bar, which calls itself ‘‘a car lover’s sports bar,’’ has opened at the Downtown Ocotillo development on Queen Creek, between Dobson and Price, in south Chandler.
The space: The locally owned concept replaces the health-focused Cherish, which closed last June after three years in business. Before that, the building was home to Sauce Pizza & Wine.
The pedigree: Many of the principals behind The Trophy Bar also are/were involved with Majerle’s Sport Grill, which closed its Chandler location in 2020.
The food: Burgers, sandwiches, chicken wings, pork ‘‘wings,’’ salads, tacos, and Neapolitan-style pizzas.
The drinks: Beer, wine, and cocktails.
The hours: 11 a.m.-midnight daily.
Grand opening: A grand-opening party will be held in June.
