🍔 Sad news from downtown Chandler: Truland Burgers & Greens, a Tucson-based concept featuring chopped salads and hormone- and antibiotic-free beef, is closing Saturday night.
The background: Truland opened in January 2020 on the northwest corner of Arizona and Buffalo, joining Flix Brewhouse, Over Easy, and The Screamery ice cream shop in the then-new Overstreet development.
The quote: ‘‘We are so incredibly grateful to our entire staff for their hard work and dedication, and to our customers for their support over the last 3+ years,’’ the restaurant posted on social media.
Some good news: The original Tucson location, which debuted in 2016, remains open.
