Prep & Pastry, one of Tucson’s most popular brunch destinations, continues to make inroads into the Valley with the opening of its fourth restaurant in downtown Gilbert.
The space: The ground floor, formerly home to The Brass Tap, in the three-story building between Dierks Bentley’s Whiskey Row and Joe’s Real BBQ.
The food: Signature dishes include Cast Iron Duck Confit, Poblano Verde Benedict, Sweet Potato Hash, and Southwest Croissant Sammie. Fresh-baked pastries change daily.
The drinks: The bar offers an extensive selection of craft cocktails, highlighted by build-your-own mimosas.
The history: Prep & Pastry was founded in 2014 in Tucson, where there are now two locations, and made its Valley debutĀ in 2019 at the Scottsdale Waterfront.
Hours: 7 a.m.-3 p.m. daily.
