🥞 Fluffy Cakes, a husband-and-wife-run eatery specializing in Japanese souffle pancakes, has opened at the food court at Chandler Fashion Center.
The space: A stand-alone kiosk at the food court entrance near the Crayola Experience.
The food: Unlike traditional pancakes, Japanese pancakes ($8.75) are smaller in diameter but up to 2 inches thick.
- Pancakes can be topped with fruit, Nutella, or biscoff cookie butter.
- Also on the menu: Fish-shaped taiyaki waffles ($5.50) and Japanese milk bread.
Hours: 11 a.m.-8 p.m. Monday-Saturday, 11 a.m.-6 p.m. Sunday.
