🍷 Bar Vinedo, a Queen Creek wine bar and restaurant that opened in late 2014, will say farewell with a goodbye party tonight as it closes permanently.
The quote: ‘‘With a heavy heart, we announce our last day we are open for business is on Thursday, June 29th,’’ owners Sabrina Osterman and Melissa Holiday write on social media. ‘‘In appreciation for your support, we are hosting a party on Thursday to deplete our inventory with specials galore and to have a good time. … Please come and celebrate the amazing friendships we have made through the years.’’
The history: Bar Vinedo took over a 5,000-square-foot space on the northeast corner of Power and Rittenhouse that formerly was home to Trophy’s Steakhouse.
- It offered 27 wines by the glass – 13 on tap and another 14 from its Cruvinet system – and a food menu ranging from pizza to filet mignon to sushi.
Did you know: The wine bar features a live tree in the middle of the dining room.
