Copper & Logs, a European-style gastropub with a wood-fired oven that opened in 2020 on the southwest corner of Greenfield and Warner in Gilbert, has been csold.
The history: Copper & Logs was launched by Fabrice and Mairead Buschtetz, who, along with their adult children, also run French restaurant Cuisine & Wine Bistro in south Chandler.
The quote: ‘‘When our daughter Laura announced the pending arrival of her first child, our family met and decided together that the timing was right to end one chapter as a new one begins,’’ the couple wrote in announcing the closure.
What’s next: The Buschtetz family has sold Copper & Logs to Will and Jennifer Tews, who will revamp and rename the restaurant Holiday Toast & Tap.
