🕹🍕🍺 Level One Arcade Bar, which opened in downtown Gilbert in 2019, officially opens its second location at 11 a.m. today on the north side of Main, between MacDonald and Drew, in downtown Mesa.
The space: The two-story Mesa location is 6,000 square feet, more than double the size of the original. Besides 14 pinball machines, 37 arcade games, and bars on both floors, the new Level One will have a dance floor.
- Customers under 21 are permitted with supervising parent or guardian until 7 p.m. daily.
The food: Mostly small bites and handhelds, including personal pizzas, tacos, sliders, mac and cheese, nachos, loaded tots/fries, and more.
The drinks: 30 beers on tap, compared to 20 in Gilbert, plus wine and cocktails.
Did you know: Level One is the second arcade bar to open in downtown Mesa. The Beer Research Institute Taproom & Arcade opened on the south side of Main last year.
The hours: Noon-1 a.m. Monday-Thursday, 11 a.m.-2 a.m. Friday-Saturday, 11 a.m.-midnight Sunday.
