🥤🍪🍔 JoJo’s Shake Bar, a Chicago-based concept known for over-the-top shakes, onion ring towers, and milk-and-cookie flights, opens at 10 a.m. Saturday at the Scottsdale Quarter on the northeast corner of Scottsdale and Greenway/Butherus in north Scottsdale.
The concept: A classic diner with dose of 1980s- and ’90s-inspired nostalgia.
The space: The former home of Stingray Sushi, which closed in 2016. The 200-seat space has a garage-style door, vintage arcade games, and a walk-up window.
The food: Soups, salads, sandwiches, wraps, burgers, and comfort food entrees like lasagna, fish and chips, and chicken pot pie.
The drinks: The signature drinks are the Biggie Shakes topped with cookies, candy, and marshmallows.
- The cocktail menu includes boozy popsicles.
The chain: The Scottsdale location is JoJo’s third outside the Chicago area and seventh overall.
The hours: 11 a.m.-9 p.m. Monday-Thursday, 10 a.m.-11 p.m. Friday-Saturday, 10 a.m.-9 p.m. Sunday.
