🌯🌮 Someburros, the East Valley-based chain of family-run fast-casual Mexican restaurants, officially opens its 14th Arizona location at 9 a.m. Saturday on the northeast corner of 83rd Avenue and Thunderbird in Peoria.
Grand opening festivities: A live mariachi band, gift card giveaways, piñata prizes, an appearance by “Nacho” (its burro mascot), and more fun surprises.
The space: A 1,500-square-foot indoor dining area and a 400-square-foot patio. There is a drive-through for to-go orders.
The menu: 15 burritos – led by its best-selling Pollo Fundido (pictured) – as well as tacos, tostadas, enchiladas, and tamales.
The drinks: Frozen margaritas, beer, and sodas.
The hours: 9 a.m.-9 p.m. daily (drive-through open until 10 p.m. Friday and Saturday).
