🇯🇵🥩 Donabe, a Japanese steakhouse offering rare and imported wagyu, has opened inside the W Scottsdale on the southeast corner of Camelback and Brown in Old Town Scottsdale.
The space: A small seating area on the second floor of the hotel.
The food: Highlights include sushi ($23-$58 rolls), duck and foie gras fried rice ($32), A5 wagyu served on a hot stone ($65), and a 4-ounce Kagoshima Prefecture kobe steak ($160).
The drinks: A full bar has specialty cocktails, high-end wines (up to $950 per bottle), and Japanese whiskies.
The hours: 5:30-9 p.m. Sunday-Thursday, 5:30-10 p.m. Friday-Saturday.
