🥢 Jin Jia, a new elevated Chinese concept with a Korean twist from Scottsdale-based HL Concepts, has debuted across from Barnes & Noble at Desert Ridge Marketplace in north Phoenix.
Founder Hyunwook Lee’s other Valley concepts include high-end Japanese restaurant Shinbay and Sizzle Korean Barbecue. He brought in kitchen staff from South Korea, including head chef Hyung Jin Choi, who was executive chef for P.F. Changs and Pei Wei in that country.
Some of Jin Jia’s menu highlights: Genghis-Kahn Beef, Chili Garlic Fried Chicken, Mango Prawn, and King Crab Egg Drop Soup.
