🍺🇪🇺 Here’s a few details for those planning to check out Wren Südhalle, the new Wren House Brewing location in Ahwatukee that’s holding it’s grand opening Saturday.
Where: The European-inspired beer hall is located in the Safeway/Trader Joe’s shopping center on the southeast corner of Chandler and 40th Street.
Capacity: The 2,200-square-foot space only seats 70 people inside. There’s room for another 30 on the dog-friendly patio.
Opening: Südhalle (which means ‘‘South Hall’’) has been doing some soft-opening sessions this week, but officially opens at 11 a.m. Saturday.
The hours: Starting Saturday, hours will be noon-10 p.m. Sunday-Thursday and 11 a.m.-midnight Friday and Saturday.
The beers: There are 20 on tap – about half from Wren House and the other half imported from Europe (many not available elsewhere in Arizona). There also are canned beers to take home.
The food: The kitchen, which will serve bar bites and burgers, will not open until October.
