The increasing popularity of cookies is among the top U.S. food trends of 2023, and it’s reflected in the number of cookie shops that recently have opened in the Valley, including:

🍪 CookieRush, a spinoff of local soda shop chain SodaRush, opened its first location in May on the northwest corner of Gilbert and Chandler Heights in south Chandler.

🍪 Cookie Co., a California-based concept, opened its second Arizona store in August at Verde at Cooley Station on the southwest corner of Recker and Williams Field in Gilbert.

🍪 Crumbl Cookies, a fast-growing chain out of Utah, launched its 23rd Valley store earlier this month on the northeast corner of Arizona and Ocotillo in south Chandler.

🍪 Crave Cookie, another Utah-based chain, made its Arizona debut last weekend on the southeast corner of Gilbert and Germann in south Gilbert.

🍪 Batch Cookie Shop (pictured), a family-owned store in Gilbert, is planning a major expansion with four new East Valley locations this fall.
