Drive-through steakhouse concept Angie’s Prime Grill to debut next week

🥩 Angie’s Prime Grill, the new drive-through steakhouse concept from the founders of Salad and Go and Angie’s Lobster, will make a limited debut next Monday, Oct. 16, in north Phoenix.

MXSW Insiders were among the first to learn about Angie’s Prime Grill last month.

To recap for those who aren’t paid subscribers: Tony and Roushan Christofellis launched Salad and Go in Gilbert in 2013. The concept has grown to more than 100 locations in four states.

They sold Salad and Go in 2020 and introduced Angie’s Lobster, which is selling $9.99 lobster meals from six Valley drive-throughs with more on the way.

“When we launched Angie’s Lobster in 2022, we realized just how much these ‘luxury’ foods mean to hard-working Americans, so we thought, why stop there?” Roushan Christofellis says.

The couple’s newest drive-through concept will offer USDA prime top sirloin steak, organic chicken, and Maine lobster tails in rice bowls, burritos, and salads.

Chicken and steak meals with a drink will be $9.99; lobster meals with a drink will be $10.99.

Next week’s first location – for walkup and delivery only – will be at its corporate distribution center near the southeast corner of Seventh Street and Deer Valley Drive.

An Angie’s Prime Grill food truck will launch next month at 19th Avenue and Pinnacle Peak where the first drive-through is scheduled to open in March 2024.

Four additional locations are in the works, including Baseline and 19th Avenue in south Phoenix and Alma School and Guadalupe in southwest Mesa.
