🦉 If you’ve spent much time in Flagstaff, you’re probably familiar with the Toasted Owl Cafe, the eccentric brunch eatery with two locations filled with mismatched furniture and owl-themed decorations.
Now the popular restaurant has soft-opened a third location at The Newton on the northwest corner of Camelback and Third Avenue in Phoenix. The adaptive reuse project also is home to Southern Rail and Changing Hands Bookstore.
It’s a homecoming of sorts for Toasted Owl owner Ceciliy Maniaci, whose family is from Phoenix.
Menu highlights include Giant Home Made Cinnamon Rolls ($6), Big Fat French Toast ($12.75), and the Horned Nest of Goodness, a platter of bacon or sausage, French toast, chicken strips, and french fries (pictured, $15.75).
For $7, you can get your choice of beverage in a collectible owl Mason jar.
