🪓 LumberjAxes – a restaurant, bar, and competitive axe-throwing venue – has moved its Tempe location to Tempe Marketplace.
It takes over the 13,000-square-foot, second-floor space formerly home to Cadillac Ranch.
The original location debuted in 2017 on the northeast corner of Southern and 48th Street. A second location opened in 2019 at Westgate in Glendale.
‘‘With six years under our belt and our team’s extensive culinary and entertainment background, we knew it was time to grow and expand the concept,’’ co-owner Angelo DiNardo says.
A food menu created by celebrity chef and culinary director Matt Hearn (‘‘Hell’s Kitchen,’’ ‘‘Snack-Off’’) features appetizers, burgers, sandwiches, and Detroit-style pizzas.
There are 13 axe-throwing lanes and more than 30 TVs for watching sports.
