🥙 The Great Greek Mediterranean Grill, a Florida-based chain of counter-service restaurants, has opened its first Arizona location on the northwest corner of the Loop 101 and Via de Ventura in central Scottsdale.
The menu offers salads, bowls, gyros, pitas, falafel, and souvlaki.
The Great Greek was founded in Henderson, Nev., in 2011. It now has 44 restaurants in 16 states, but another 30 are in active development.
The fast-growing chain hopes to launch another 200-plus locations in the next several years.
Scottsdale franchise owner Lar Lazola reportedly wants to open at least two more locations.
Another franchisee is working on Arizona’s second location at Power and the Loop 202 in southeast Gilbert, and planning four others in Mesa, Chandler, and Queen Creek.
