Japanese-style bistro Pyro makes debut at The Grove in east Phoenix

🔥 A Japanese-style bistro called Pyro hass opened at The Grove, a new $300 million mixed-use development on the northwest corner of 44th Street and Camelback in east Phoenix.

It’s from the Nebraska-based Flagship Restaurant Group, which also operates Ghost Donkey, Palma, and Châm Pang Lanes in downtown Phoenix.

The 4,200-square-foot restaurant has an open hearth, a full bar, and a large patio.

Pyro’s name refers to its use of live fire to roast, sear, grill, and smoke its entrees, including its signature dry-aged bone-in ribeye, as well as rack of lamb, spiny lobster, the ‘‘world’s best branzino,’’ and more.

The menu also offers shared plates, sushi rolls, skewers, noodle dishes, and caviar.
