🐓 Dave’s Hot Chicken, a Los Angeles-based chain that made its Arizona debut in Gilbert last year, has launched its second Valley location on the southwest corner of Bell and Seventh Street in north Phoenix.
Dave’s specializes in Nashville-style hot chicken, offering chicken tenders (alone or in a sandwich) with a choice of seven heat levels ranging from ‘‘no spice’’ to ‘‘reaper.’’ Sides include fries, mac and cheese, and kale slaw.
The 6-year-old concept, which began as a Hollywood parking lot pop-up, is financially backed by celebrities Samuel L. Jackson, Drake, Michael Strahan, and Maria Shriver.
