🍔 Bad Jimmy’s, a restaurant I first wrote about in August, holds its grand opening at 10:30 a.m. today in the former Breadfruit & Rum Bar space on the northeast corner of First Avenue and Pierce in downtown Phoenix.
James Piazza, then chef at eclectic Southwestern restaurant Valentine, launched Bad Jimmy’s as a pop-up concept during the covid pandemic. His smash burgers feature his own blend of grass-fed brisket and grass-fed beef.
The pop-up regularly appeared outside the Cobra Arcade Bar.
Besides burgers, the bricks-and-mortar menu offers a wedge salad, fries, house-made pies, and soft-serve ice cream.
Beer, wine, and cocktails also are available.
