Wrigley Mansion’s Mark Guillaudeu earns title of Master Sommelier

🍷 Mark Guillaudeu, the head sommelier at the Wrigley Mansion in Phoenix, recently passed his final exam to become Arizona’s only active Master Sommelier.

Less than 300 people have completed the years-long training and testing program overseen by the Court of Master Sommeliers since 1977.

Other Arizona sommeliers to earn the prestigious title are Laura Williamson, who’s currently working in New York; and the late Greg Tresner, formerly at The Phoenician.

Arizona native Bobby Stuckey earned the title after moving to Boulder, Colo., where he still works.

Richard Betts, formerly at Janos in Tucson, also earned the distinction but resigned in protest from the Court of Master Sommeliers three years ago.
