🍜 Chef Angelo Sosa, best known for his three seasons on TV’s ‘‘Top Chef,’’ opens a new restaurant, Kembarra, today at the JW Marriott Phoenix Desert Ridge Resort & Spa in northeast Phoenix.
The menu is inspired by the boldly flavored street foods found across Asia – from Singapore to Bangkok to Tokyo. Dishes range from black pepper Maine lobster to Vietnamese coffee donuts.
The bar offers an array of Japanese whiskeys, shochu, baijiu, and spirits from India and Thailand.
It’s Sosa’s second concept at the resort. He launched dinner-only Southwestern restaurant Tia Carmen last year.
