🍱 Bang Bang, an Asian fusion restaurant and upscale-casual nightclub in San Diego, has opened its second location in the former Gordon Biersch Brewing second-floor space on the northwest corner of Mill and Fifth Street in downtown Tempe.
The concept debuted in San Diego in 2013, closed during the covid pandemic, but reopened in 2021 under a new owner – Floridian house music connoisseur Islam Ahmed.
Bang Bang since has become mecca for San Diego’s techno and house music scenes.
Ahmed describes the restaurant’s menu as ‘‘a wide range of sushi, Asian-fusion hot kitchen foods, sake, Japanese whiskeys, and desserts.’’
