🌮🍹 Copper & Sage, a refined comfort food restaurant with a neighboring speakeasy, has opened in the former Los Sombreros/SunUp Brewing buildings on the northeast corner of Camelback and Third Street in Phoenix.

Menu influences range from Southern (bayou mussels with andouille sausage, pictured above)) to Italian (house-made tagliatelle with Italian sausage, below) to Mexican and Korean (pork belly tacos with kimchi) and beyond.

Across the patio, the Blue Stave, a Prohibition era-inspired cocktail lounge, offers such libations as Don’t Take Any Wooden Nickels, Holy Water, and Iron Your Shoelaces.

Copper & Sage and Blue Stave are part of Joey Lucidi’s Peoria-based Westside Concepts, which also includes Haymaker, Cantina Gueros, and NW Coffee.

Cooper & Sage is open 11 a.m.-2 p.m. Tuesday-Friday for lunch, 5-9 p.m. Tuesday-Thursday and 5-10 p.m. Friday-Saturday for dinner, and 10 a.m.-2 p.m. Saturday-Sunday for brunch.
