🥨 The Salted Knot, a regular vendor at the Gilbert and Uptown Phoenix farmers markets, has opened a bricks-and-mortar store in downtown Mesa.
It takes over the former Main St. Sweets space on the south side of Main between Drew and Center.
Maria Vassett, a concert photographer, and Chad Day, a college English professor, launched The Salted Knot in 2020 when both were sidelined during the covid pandemic.
They make a variety of soft pretzels, including pretzel bites, pretzel brats, pretzel bombs, pretzel knots, pretzel paninis, and more.
