🇻🇳 La Sen Vietnamese Cuisine opens today in the former modern American gastropub Double Dutch Kitchen & Cocktails space on the northeast corner of Dobson and Germann in south Chandler.
The building’s original occupant was Thai restaurant Chao from 2013-14, followed by Mediterranean restaurant The Ivy from 2015-20 and Double Dutch from 2021-23.
The menu
🍲 There are a whopping 23 varieties of pho, plus seven spicy noodle soups and nine vermicelli soups.
🍛 The extensive menu also offers banh mi (sandwiches), steamed and fried rice dishes, stir fry dishes, curries, and hot pots.
🐑 House specialties include lamb chops (sưon cuu nuong), shaking beef stirfry (bo chao), and stuffed calamari (muc nhoi thit).
