🤠 Foley Ranch Boots & BBQ, a large country bar with live music and dancing, opens today in the former Sweet Tomatoes building at Desert Ridge Marketplace on the northeast corner of Tatum and the Loop 101 in northeast Phoenix.
It’s the latest concept from Clay Moizo and Don Talbot, owners of Scramble and Half Moon Sports Grill.
The space
The 8,000-square-foot building is located between BJ’s Restaurant & Brewhouse and ComicX on the west side of the marketplace.
The indoor-outdoor venue includes a bar with a top made from beer bottle caps, a stage for live music, VIP booths, and a smokehouse inside the restaurant.
The food
Brian Duffy, a celebrity chef best-known for his appearances on TV’s ‘‘Bar Rescue,’’ created the menu of barbecue, burgers, and wings.
The entertainment
Josh Roy performs 6-9 p.m. tonight and Last Train to Juarez from 6-9 p.m. Saturday. A DJ spins after the bands.
