🍽️ Sage & Barrel Craft Eatery, a restaurant and bar with a globally inspired menu, has opened in the former Bar Venedo space near the southeast corner of Power and Pecos in Queen Creek.
What’s on the menu?
Appetizers, entree salads, flatbreads, burgers, sandwiches, wraps, steaks, chops, seafood, and more.
Highlights include blackberry-glazed salmon (pictured), soba noodles chicken sauté, English fish and chips, and Godzilla Burger with green chiles, jalapeños, hot sauce, and habanero pepper jack cheese.
A full bar offers more than 40 local craft beers (12 on tap), wines by the bottle or glass, seasonal cocktails, and more than 30 brands of bourbon, whiskey, and scotch.
The space
The light-colored walls of Bar Vinedo have been painted black for a more modern look, and the dark wood tables have been replaced with ones with light wood tops.
The live tree that was the centerpiece of Bar Venedo’s dining area has been removed.
