🌮 Tacos & Craft, a new quick-casual concept offering 16 kinds of tacos and 10 beers on tap, has opened near the northeast corner of Rural and Baseline in south Tempe.
What’s on the menu?
The tacos – eight ‘‘house’’ tacos and eight ‘‘street’’ tacos – include:
- Quesabirria: Slow-roasted goat meat with Oaxaca cheese and chile consommé.
- Jerk chicken: Charbroiled chicken with charred pineapple salsa, and lime crema.
- Chipotle salmon: Blackened salmon with apple-cucumber pico, cilantro-lime crema, and cotija cheese.
- Nopales: Crispy three-cheese costra with sauteed cactus, green pepper, and onion.
- Papas y chorizo: Smashed potato fried with pork chorizo and three-cheese blend, topped with pickled onions, jalapeño slaw, and Mexican crema.
- Cauliflower: Fried cauliflower with avocado habanero salsa, pickled onions, and queso fresco.
The 10 beers on tap include nine Arizona craft beers. Also available: bottled and canned beers, wine, cocktails, sodas, and horchata.
