San Diego’s Ambrogio15 brings its Milanese-style pizzas to Phoenix

🍕 Ambrogio15, which has been voted the best pizza in San Diego by several publications, has opened its first out-of-state location at the Biltmore Fashion Park on the northeast corner of Camelback and 24th Street in Phoenix.

What’s on the menu?

The modern Italian restaurant specializes in Milanese-style pizzas with paper-thin crusts made with hand-washed flour imported from a 191-year-old flour mill in the province of Piacenza, just southeast of Milan.

Also available: antipasti (appetizers), crudo (raw seafood or meat dishes), pastas, steaks, and other dinner entrees.

The cocktail list was created by famed mixologist Marco Russo, founder of Bar 1930 in Milano, Italy.

A 2,000-bottle, two-story wine tower showcases a global selection of boutique natural wines.
