🍺 Barrio Brewing Co., Arizona’s oldest brewery, has opened its second licensed location in the Valley at the Deer Valley Airport at Seventh Avenue and Deer Valley Road in north Phoenix.
The brewery, which debuted in Tucson in 1991, has a licensing agreement with Kind Hospitality, which opened Barrio’s first Valley location at Phoenix Mesa Gateway Airport in 2017.
What’s on the menu?
The breakfast menu features standards such as pancakes, eggs, biscuits and gravy, and corned beef hash.
Highlights of the lunch/dinner menu are the Barrio Brat (a house bratwurst simmered in Barrio’s Copperhead Pale Ale), the Reuben’s High on Rye sandwich, and the Sonoran dog (pictured), a Tucson classic.
The Tucson brewery ships a dozen of its draft beers – including Barrio Blonde, the state’s oldest craft beer – to the two Valley locations.
The space
Like the Mesa location, the Deer Valley one gives guests a front-row seat to planes taking off and landing.
