🍣 Shimogamo, the highly acclaimed Japanese restaurant in south Chandler, has launched a second location at SanTan Village shopping center on the northwest corner of Santan Village Parkway and Williams Field in Gilbert.
Unlike the original, which opened in 2003 and only serves dinner, the new location also serves lunch and has a patio.
What’s on the menu?
For lunch, sushi rolls ($8-$26), rice bowls ($18-$28), ramen and noodle dishes ($17-$18), and desserts ($8).
For dinner, hot and cold appetizers ($6-$27), nigiri ($8-$16), sashimi ($16-$32), signature rolls ($13-$26), ramen and noodle dishes ($15-$19), yakitori skewers ($5-$8), robata grilled dishes ($18-$45), and desserts ($8).
The bar offers Japanese specialty cocktails, 20 kinds of sake, Japanese spirits, and Japanese beers.
Unlike the Chandler location, there is no omakase option.
