🚗 As part of the ongoing partnership between Uber and Waymo, Uber Eats meals now may now be delivered by autonomous vehicles throughout the Valley.
How it works
After placing an order, Uber Eats customers are notified if a Waymo vehicle will be used. If so, customers use their phone to open the vehicle’s trunk and collect their items.
Customers will be able opt out of using Waymo if they prefer delivery by a person.
