🍹 Oliver’s Modern American, a new concept from the owners of The Eleanor and Fate Brewing, opens today near the northeast corner of Hayden and Thomas in south Scottsdale. The 1960s building, once the country’s only Polynesian Dairy Queen, was moved from its original location at McDowell and 68th Street and expanded from 1,000 square feet to 4,400. Highlights of chef Kent Macaulay’s menu include Moroccan chicken skewers, rajas fettucini with miso corn sauce, coconut lime scallops, and baby back ribs with root beer barbecue sauce. Open at 4 p.m. daily.
