🍛 Avasa, an Asian fusion restaurant whose menu ranges from Indian to Thai, has opened in the Changing Hands Bookstore plaza on the southwest corner of McClintock and Guadalupe in south Tempe. It takes over the longtime Mac’s Tap & Broiler space, which has seen a couple of short-lived concepts (Smuggler’s, Marauders) since Mac’s closed in 2019. The menu includes tandoori, biryanis, curries, naans, and even Indian pizzas. Open for lunch and dinner daily.
