🍣 Downtown Phoenix sushi eatery Kaizen has closed after four years, but owners Troy Watkins and Kyu Utsunomiya plan to open a ‘‘mini Kaizen’’ inside their other sushi concept, Silo in downtown Tempe, in mid-August. Besides sushi, Kaizen offered a Japanese-Latin American fusion menu of small plates, bowls, and steaks.
