Against the Grain launches in downtown Mesa

🍞 Against the Grain, a gluten-free bakery, grocery, and cafe, has opened near the northwest corner of Main and MacDonald in downtown Mesa. It takes over the space formerly home to Smitholator Cookie Shop (across the street from Proof Bread).

The bakery sells breads, cookies, cinnamon rolls, bagels, donuts, muffins, and cakes. The cafe serves pancakes and French toast, sandwiches, pizzas, rice bowls, pastas with garlic bread, and more. Grocery items include dry goods, canned goods, and frozen foods.

Open for breakfast and lunch Monday-Wednesday and breakfast, lunch, and dinner Thursday-Saturday.
