🍔 McDonald’s has launched its much-anticipated $5 meal deal designed to lure inflation-hit customers back to the world’s largest fast-food chain.
The limited-time meal includes a McChicken or a McDouble along with a four-piece McNuggets, small fries, and a drink.
The price for those items separately at my local McD’s is $10.86 before tax.
McDonald’s isn’t alone in its strategy.
In April, KFC debuted a $4.99 meal with two pieces of chicken, a side of mashed potatoes and gravy, and a biscuit.
Last month, Burger King brought back its $5 Your Way Meal with a choice of a Chicken Jr., Whopper Jr., or Bacon Cheeseburger along with fries, nuggets, and a drink.
